Warranty
Policy For New Items:
Most new items carry a 1 year limited replacement warranty.
If within 1 year
from the date of the invoice date, the product fails, we will send a replacement
item. If the item is no longer available we reserve the right to substitute
with another item of similar or greater functionality & price. In the
event that compatible product is no longer available we may at our discretion
give a refund of product purchase price (shipping not included)! We also
reserve the right to give a refund as the only warranty/replacement service
offered if we so decide. We will not pay for any other costs incurred such
as lost time or contractor bills for installation/repair or any other costs
that you may incur.
Replacement items
will be sent upon receipt and testing of the returned product, in some cases
we may need to return the product to the manufacturer & wait for the manufacturer
to return the repaired/replaced product to us before we can send you a replacement.
The customer is responsible for shipping cost of items sent to us, we will
pay for standard ground shipping of replacement. You must call first to receive
a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, we will not accept any returns
without an RMA number. In addition we will not accept any COD returns, all
returns must be shipped, pre-paid and insured. We are not responsible for
lost or damaged shipments.
Replacement terms
for memory such as DIMM, SIMMs, RIMMs are amended as of 3/12/00. We are no
longer accepting memory for credit or refunds beyond 7 days past the invoice
date. Your only option is to have the memory exchanged. Any request to return
memory products more than eight (8) days after the invoice date will not be
honored.
This limited
warranty does not cover:
Damage or failure due to use, mishandling or improper use/configuration
of our products.
Software, including the operating system and
software added to the hardware products unless purchased from
and installed by Scsistuff at the time of initial purchase.
Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or
components not supplied by Scsistuff.
External events such as accident, abuse, misuse, problems caused by
electrical power issues, or Act of God ( hurricanes, tornadoes).
Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive
maintenance.
Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or
components not supplied by Scsistuff.
Scsistuff is not responsible for integrating
different brands of hardware. Hardware incompatibles do exist.
In no case will the amount refunded be greater than the price paid.
Warranty
Policy For Used Items:
Most used items carry a 90 day replacement warranty (Some Clearance items
carry a 30 day warranty only). If within 90 days from the date of the invoice
date (or 30 days for items with 30 day warranty), the product fails, we will
send a replacement item. If the item is no longer available we reserve the
right to substitute with another Item of similar or greater functionality
& price. In the event that compatible product is no longer available we
may at our discretion give a refund of product purchase price (shipping not
included)! Replacement items will be sent upon receipt & testing of returned

& wait for the manufacturer to return the repaired/replaced product to

Returning
Products For a Refund:
If you get a product & find out that it does not suit your needs or wish
to return it for any other reason our refund policy is as follows: If you
call us within the lesser of either 7 days from the time you get your product
or 10 days from the invoice date, & get a confirmed RMA number, we can
issue you a credit less 25% restocking fee for the item you purchased (shipping charge not included),
provided the following conditions are met. The conditions to this are:
a. This return policy does not apply to CPUs, Memory or Custom SCSI Cables,
these items are returnable only for warranty repair & exchange for same
item
b. Items must
be received no later than 14 days from invoice date
if items are received later, restocking fees or cancellation of RMA will apply.
c. Items must
be returned in like new condition with all packaging & accessories.
Items must not have any customer damage to them or be worn or damaged in any
way.
d. Items must
be returned properly packaged to ensure safe arrival & must be sent via
an insured carrier so that the customer can file claim with shipper in the
event of lost or damaged goods.
e. We will accept
returns up to 30 days from date of invoice, with a 25% restocking fee, We
can issue you an RMA up to 29 days from date of invoice however a 25% restocking
fee will be charged.
d. We will not
accept any returns for credit after 30 days from invoice date. After 30 days
from invoice date returns will only be accepted for warranty service to repair/replace
the item, according to our above listed warranty policies.
e. Dell
Equipment such as, but not limited to, PowerVault Storage systems, PowerEdge
Servers and associated hardware are not returnable.
If any of the
previous conditions are not met, we reserve the right to charge a restocking
fee or to refuse the return. We also reserve the right to charge an extra
fee in addition to the restocking fee for any items or accessories that arrive
to us in damaged condition or are missing. If you have paid for your order
via credit card, then a credit will be issued back to the credit card that
you purchased the items with. If you ordered you items via COD, then a check
will be mailed to you. For other forms of payment such as Paypal etc, credit
will either be given back to the account you paid with, or a check will be
mailed to you at our discretion. We will not pay for any other costs
incurred such as lost time or contractor bills for installation/repair or any
other costs that you may incur.
DOA Money Back Guarantee - Does not apply
to Dell Equipment:
If item fails within 7 days of invoice date and a Return Material Authorization
(RMA) is confirmed within 10 days of invoice date, a full refund of product
price & the shipping cost that was originally charged on your invoice,
(UPS ground shipping costs only, express shipping costs not refundable) will
be credited via the method of original payment. Items that fail due to customer
misuse or damage are not eligible for this refund.
The customer will be responsible for all shipping costs for the returned products.
The returned product must arrive at our location within 7 working days from
the date the date the RMA number is issued. Items must be securely packaged
to ensure safe arrival & must be returned with all accessories in like
new undamaged condition or restocking fees & other charges will apply.
14 calendar days after the invoice date, your only option is to pay the 25%
restocking fee when merchandise is returned. Don't be late shipping the returned
item, thanks. (Several customers have waited in excess of a month and demanded
a full refund. Due to excessive price changes this industry has experienced
over the past ten years, we are forced to limit your return options due to
a select few who buy an item, watch the price drop 10-20 percent over the
course of two months and then try to demand a full refund.) This guarantee
does not apply to any Dell equipment (see below).
We are not responsible

DOA for Refurbished Dell Equipment and non-Dell factory warranted Dell
Equipment:
All
Dell Factory Refurbished equipment such as, but not limited to PowerEdge and
PowerApp servers or PowerVault Storage, is covered in the event of failure by
the applicable warranty by Dell warranty.
In the event of refusal by Dell to replace components on a Dell warrantied
system. Scsistuff will replace the parts with a next business day
shipment. All non-Dell factory warranted
equipment covered by SCSISTUFF, LLC is covered by shipment of replacement
parts. We will not pay for any other costs incurred such as lost time or
contractor bills for installation/repair or any other costs that you may
incur.
Other
Important Exclusions:
Our sole liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
We are not responsible for an incidental liabilities due to failure of a product
to work, work as specified, or any other damages resulting from the use of
a product
including damages caused by the product or use of the product. We will not
pay for any other costs incurred such as lost time or contractor bills for
installation/repair or any other costs that you may incur. We will not pay
for any other technical support costs / repair costs or contractors that you
hire for any reason.
